The historic W. R. Badgett residence at 513 West Main Street now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Al Smith. Construction begun in 1925. Mr. W. R. Badgett was a Pilot Mountain attorney and founder and first President of the Farmer's Bank. Mr. Badgett also had two sons who were attorneys.
